Miss Lilly and Pooch Go to Saks, and I Shop for a Cause

Dec. 2 was party night at retail stores across town, with HRC’s holiday celebration at Fred Segal, which brought throngs of board members, committee members, dedicated volunteers and friends of HRC out for a night of cocktails and shopping at the famed Melrose Ave store.    Then it was off to  Saks Fifth Avenue, where 650 guests  celebrated the holiday launch of Miss Lilly’s (www.misslillystradingcompany.com) gift tins at Saks Fifth Avenue’s Beverly Hills store and shopped for a cause, with proceeds going to charity.

I did my part by buying a bunch of Bobbi Brown cosmetics, and 10 percent of the sale was donated to St. Vincent Meals on Wheels’ Los Angeles chapter, to help provide more than 3,000 hot meals to homebound seniors.  Also great to know, Miss Lilly’s Trading Company provides seniors with food for their pets through a portion of its baked goods proceeds.
